Programmable robots: how do they work?

A programmable robot is a robot in which you can install a program. Programmable robots more often than not come with a programming environment, which can sometimes be little more than a basic remote control in which it is possible to record sequences of movements, or can be a more advanced computer programming environment for example (not always) enabling the user to create an autonomous programmable robot.

Programmable robots use their embedded sensors to control the reaction of effectors (usually servomotors).
