\n \n Generation Robots\n <\/strong>\n , who will be presenting the\n \n \n Baxter collaborative robot\n <\/a>\n <\/strong>\n by\n \n Rethink Robotics\n <\/strong>\n is one of the\n \n 200\n \n b\u00e2tisseurs pour demain\n <\/em>\n <\/strong>\n who are going to assemble from\n \n 4 au 7 d\u00e9cembre 2014\n <\/strong>\n in\u00a0the central concourse of the Grand Palais.\n <\/p>\n \n \n

\n This event, organised at the initiative of\n \n \n Osons la France\n <\/em>\n <\/strong>\n (France, let\u2019s be daring!), will introduce the country\u2019s\u00a0future talents, including several players in the field of robotics. Projects will be examined and selected by the Osons la France policy committee, comprising 12 figures from\u00a0diverse and complementary backgrounds including Bruno Bonnell (Robopolis), the brain\u2019s behind the\n \n Innorobo event\n <\/a>\n .\n <\/p>\n \n \n

\n These visionaries of the future will meet from 4-7 December 2014 to show what is happening in fields like that of\n \n robotics\n <\/strong>\n . The 200\u00a0companies representing the France of tomorrow operate in very diverse fields, from\n \n health\n <\/strong>\n and\n \n biotechnologies\n <\/strong>\n to\n \n design\n <\/strong>\n ,\n \n tourism\n <\/strong>\n and\n \n robotics\n <\/strong>\n . They include creators of start-ups, designers, research scientists and intellectuals, all determined to change the way we operate in their fields.\n <\/p>\n \n \n

\n France boasts many players in the field of robotics, the most famous being no doubt\n \n Aldebaran\n <\/a>\n , the company responsible for the NAO programmable humanoid robot. Inventions presented by the companies selected include\u00a0a telepresence robot, one of the latest technological innovations that is completely revolutionising the way we work. These changes in work practices are also demonstrated by\u00a0the\n \n Baxter collaborative robot\n <\/a>\n \n Generation Robots\n <\/strong>\n will be presenting. These\n \n collaborative robots\n <\/strong>\n are rapidly improving\n \n \n human\/robot interaction\n <\/strong>\n .\n <\/p>\n \n \n

\n Robotics: today\u2019s revolutionary changes\n <\/h2>\n \n \n

\n The latest generation of\n \n industrial robots\n <\/strong>\n has changed. This is, in essence, the message G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Robots will be delivering when it presents\u00a0the\n \n Baxter cobot\n <\/strong>\n . These new types of robots are increasing the quality, and proximity, of\n \n human\/robot\n <\/strong>\n working relationships. They are more user-friendly for\u00a0employees, who can\n \n rapidly learn\n <\/strong>\n , how to\n \n program\n <\/strong>\n them, and\n \n more affordable\n <\/strong>\n .\n \n Collaboration\n <\/strong>\n between the employee and robot is\u00a0easier, more reliable and quicker, effectively reducing time spent working on repetitive tasks.
