The tests were carried out using the <a class=\"catalogue\" title=\"Rethink Robotics unveils Sawyer for Research and Education with Open Source SDK\" href=\"\/blog\/en\/rethink-robotics-unveils-sawyer-for-research-and-education-with-open-source-sdk\/\"><br \/>    research and education version<br \/>   <\/a> of the Rethink Robotics Sawyer robot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n   <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\n    <strong>\n     Result:\n    <\/strong>\n   <\/span>\n   a\n   <strong>\n    universal\n   <\/strong>\n   (compatible with numerous robotic arms)\n   <strong>\n    and ultra-versatile\n   <\/strong>\n   gripper capable of grasping both slender and bulky objects, whether heavy or light.\n  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-ezgripper-by-sake-robotics-our-thoughts\">\n   The EZGripper by SAKE Robotics: our thoughts\n  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\n   EZGripper V2 is\n   <strong>\n    capable of picking up objects of different sizes, whether heavy or soft\n   <\/strong>\n   . It has a spring-loaded finger system with two phalanges allowing it to adapt to objects of different shapes (round, square, triangular, etc.).\n  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n   The\n   <strong>\n    control scripts provided by SAKE Robotics\n   <\/strong>\n   make it easy to use this gripper on a robotic arm for pick-and-place tasks.\n  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n   SAKE Robotics has chosen a\n   <a class=\"catalogue\" href=\"\/en\/169-dynamixel-servomotors\" title=\"Dynamixel servo motor\">\n    Dynamixel MX-64 servo motor\n   <\/a>\n   to drive the gripper\u2019s movement, allowing users to obtain various information concerning the gripper\u2019s status, including its position (open\/closed) and the applied torque. You can also choose the closure torque, closure angle and closure speed.
