It is essential that we respect the barrier gestures if we\u2019re to stop the spread of coronavirus and protect both adults and children:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  3. Respect social distancing<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    In schools, where several hundred people work and study together daily, it is important to take particular care during the Covid-19 epidemic. Particularly when it comes to handling all the materials and tools shared by pupils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We have therefore asked the various robotics manufacturers we work with to share their advice on how to properly disinfect their educational robots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Below we have summarised what they said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This way you can continue using your robots as a teaching aid while respecting optimal sanitary conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How can I make sure my robot is properly disinfected?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Begin by turning off your robot.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. If necessary, disconnect all the cables connected to peripherals.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Spray a disinfectant solution onto one or two paper towels.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Clean your robot with these paper towels<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Wait until your robot is dry before turning it on again.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      \u25bc Beware!<\/strong> \u25bc<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      A soft cloth soaked in a little 70\u00b0 alcohol will also do the trick, but we don\u2019t recommend using hydroalcoholic gel<\/strong> on robots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The paper towels (or soft cloth) must be damp, but not too wet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Do not spray the disinfectant directly<\/strong> onto the robot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Make sure you clean the robot\u2019s buttons thoroughly<\/strong> (it is these parts that are touched the most).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Pay attention to the robot\u2019s grids, openings and the gaps in its protective shell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u25bc Other tips<\/strong> \u25bc<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Remember to air<\/strong> your classroom reglularly and for a sufficient amount of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Organise pupils into small work groups<\/strong> whenever possible (pairs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Make sure you have enough bottles of hydroalcoholic gel<\/strong> for all your groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
