Particularly when it comes to handling all the materials and tools shared by pupils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have therefore asked the various robotics manufacturers we work with to share their advice on how to properly disinfect their educational robots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below we have summarised what they said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This way you can continue using your robots as a teaching aid while respecting optimal sanitary conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"299\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.generationrobots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/bien-desinfecter-ses-robots-grace-a-ces-conseils.jpg\" alt=\"Creating good sanitary conditions in technology classrooms\" class=\"wp-image-7422\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.generationrobots.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/bien-desinfecter-ses-robots-grace-a-ces-conseils.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.generationrobots.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/bien-desinfecter-ses-robots-grace-a-ces-conseils-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-can-i-make-sure-my-robot-is-properly-disinfected\">How can I make sure my robot is properly disinfected?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Begin by turning off your robot.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>If necessary, disconnect all the cables connected to peripherals.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spray a disinfectant solution onto one or two paper towels.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clean your robot with these paper towels<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wait until your robot is dry before turning it on again.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25bc <strong>Beware!<\/strong> \u25bc<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A soft cloth soaked in a little 70\u00b0 alcohol will also do the trick, <strong>but we don\u2019t recommend using hydroalcoholic gel<\/strong> on robots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The paper towels (or soft cloth) must be <strong>damp, but not too wet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not spray the disinfectant <strong>directly<\/strong> onto the robot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Make sure you clean the robot\u2019s buttons thoroughly<\/strong> (it is these parts that are touched the most).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pay attention to the robot\u2019s grids, openings and the <strong>gaps in its protective shell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25bc <strong>Other tips<\/strong> \u25bc<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember to <strong>air<\/strong> your classroom reglularly and for a sufficient amount of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organise pupils into <strong>small work groups<\/strong> whenever possible (pairs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure you have enough bottles of <strong>hydroalcoholic gel<\/strong> for all your groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25bc <strong>Ideal robotics projects for classrooms<\/strong> \u25bc<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.generationrobots.com\/en\/wash-your-hands-well-thanks-to-the-cubelets\/\"><strong>SEE THE ACTIVITY<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is essential that we respect the barrier gestures if we\u2019re to stop the spread of coronavirus and protect both adults and children: In schools, where several hundred people work and study together daily, it is important to take particular care during the Covid-19 epidemic.
