Dynamixel MX Series
More advanced than the entry-level AX serie, the Dynamixel MX servos serie differs from the other due toadvanced features such as a full 360 degree freedom of movement in the base, ultra-high resolution of 4096 positions, user-definable PID parameters, and high speed communication (TTL or RS 485, depending of the model).Sturdier and more powerful, they are used in the DARwin-OP or Poppy Humanoid robots.

The MX-28T is the new name of the MX-28 Dynamixel servomotor that powers the robot DARwIn-OP. The MX-28T actuator is intelligent and precise.
The MX-28AT is an improvement upon the MX-28T model. "A" stands for "Aluminium", the new aluminium body is now allowing a better heat distribution, and the MX-28AT is also equipped with a new fastening system.
The MX-64T is a Dynamixel servomotor, with high-level control features and very precise. It is more powerful than the MX-28T but less than the MX-106T.
The MX-64AT is a Dynamixel servomotor, with high-level control features and very precise. It is more powerful than the MX-28AT and features the same caracteristics than the MX-64T except for the aluminium case enabling a better heat dissipation.
The MX-106T is a Dynamixel servomotor, with high-level control features and very precise. It is by far the most powerful of the Dynamixel servomotors.
