The mother board for AR.Drone 2.0 includes a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 microprocessor and a 8GHz video DSP. It also has a 1Gb 200 MHz DDR2 RAM and an Atheros Wifi chip n. The AR.Drone 2.0 can therefore create its own access point and communicate with your connected devices (smartphone, tablet) to be remote controlled.
The mother board for AR.Drone 2.0 runs linux and embeds all Parrot softwares needed by your AR.Drone 2.0. And USB port allows to reflash the mother board to update the software.
The mother board for AR.Drone 2.0 has a pressure sensor and manages the vertical camera that operates at 60 frames per seconds. These two sensors are used with the navigation board to ensure a perfect stabilization of your AR.Drone 2.0.
