Using the PlayStation 2 controller interface for lego mindstorms NXT for referee
This PlayStation 2 controller interface for Lego Mindstroms NXT for referee is exactly the same as this one, save for a detail: it includes an infrared receiver that allows a referee to use a classical infrared remote control to enable or disable the reception of the signals from the PSP controller.
The signals that the referee can send to the Mindstorms NXT robots are the following:
- Start (key: 53): enables the reception of the PSP controller signals
- Stop (key: 54): disables the reception of the PSP controller signals. The LED on the interface gets red.
- Fast forward (key: 52)
- Fast backward (key: 50)
A NXT-G box allows to get the signals from the infrared remote control of the referee in your NXT-G program. You can download it here:
