Real time clock for Lego Mindstorms NXT / EV3
I2C compliant sensor to keep track of the time on your Lego Mindstorms NXT robot
Here is a unique sensor! It does not measure variables related to the robot's environment but manipulates dates and time. It is obvious that good time management in a robotic program is essential.
Programmable using NXT-G or RobotC, the sensor adds advanced features for managing dates and times. In particular, this sensor can count down the seconds, minutes, and hours, provide the date, day of week or year and takes into account leap years. The sensor discusses with the NXT intelligent brick using the I2C protocol, the native protocol of Lego Mindstorms NXT. The connection is provided by a standard Lego Mindstorms NXT cable (not supplied).
This sensor requires no calibration. A nice feature is included in the NXT-G block: it can synchronize with a single click the clock of the sensor and the clock of your PC.
