The COM22458P piezo sounder is designed to be connected to a Seeed Studio board, i.e. the Grove Base Shield or the Grove Mega Shield via a 4-way cable, either of which is controlled by your Arduino board.
It can emit an audio signal when the microcontroller’s digital output current exceeds a certain level, or generate different sounds (like a simple tune) by connecting it to an analogue PWM output. In this way, you can obtain a circuit for a small safety device like a fire alarm or smoke detector, or enable your mobile robot to play a little tune whenever you want it to!
