Web and Mobile Systems Educational Pack - University of Virginia If you’ve run out of ideas (and/or resources!) for successful fun and educational mobile phone and web projects, sit back and let the experts do the work with this educational pack based on the Raspberry Pi B+ for web and mobile systems, created especially for those teaching at the University of Virginia and their students!
Whether you’re a teacher or simply an experienced enthusiast, in this Web and Mobile Systems Educational Pack you’ll find everything the students taking the course of the same name, run by the University of Virginia, needed to complete their Raspberry Pi project.
Imagined by Adafruit, this 2152 educational kit started out as an order placed by the University’s professors for students doing the CS-4720 course on web technologies developed for mobile phones, covering everything from HTLM5, PHP, Ajax, node.js and Google App Engine to Android and iOS (Apple) development.
This educational pack was originally intended for the students of the University of Virginia taking the course on web and mobile systems. An extremely comprehensive programme requiring a pack up to the task, and which proved so interesting in the eyes of its creators that they decided to make it freely available.
This means that, even without signing up for the famous CS-4720 course, you’ll have your work cut out trying to explore all the possibilities offered by the pack. Including the Raspberry Pi B+ board(the latest development from the Raspberry labs) and the all-essential WiFi module, not forgetting of course the breadboard and the microSD card, it offers a complete set allowing you to begin creating all the connected objects you can imagine. The kit can also be supplemented with sensors and actuators to make your device a truly unique invention!
