SparkFun Inventor’s Kit for MicroView

The SparkFun Inventor’s Kit for MicroView is a small beginner’s kit introducing electronics and programming on Arduino, entirely designed around MicroView’s key component: the chip-sized OLED display module.

SparkFun Inventor’s Kit for MicroView: everything you need for programming on Arduino

Beginning with the MicroView OLED display module, an OLED screen no bigger than a chip designed for prototyping with Arduino Uno IDE, Sparkfun has developed a complete kit including numerous electrical, mechanical and electronic components.

The kit also contains a breadboard that does away with the need for soldering: simply position your components and connect them using the cables supplied.

The Inventor’s Kit for MicroView comes with a USB programmer designed for MicroView and a compatible USB cable, and allows you to program a number of simple operations using the various components of the Arduino compatible kit.

You’ll have everything you need to keep students busy during your electronics and programming lessons once you’ve exhausted all the possibilities of the SparkFun Inventor Kit V3.2!

SparkFun Kit for MicroView: a complete educational pack

The SparkFun Inventor’s Kit for MicroView is ideal not only for teaching electronics but also for introducing people to programming. You have 11 circuits designed to make learning programming and electronic assembly easy that will help you meet all your teaching objectives. Your students will learn how to:

  • make an LED flash;
  • read potentiometer data;
  • create assemblies requiring use of a button, photo resistors, a RGB LED and temperature sensors;
  • use a servo motor and DC motor; and
  • integrate a piezo buzzer, a soft potentiometer and relays in an electronic project.
