This Grove camera module comes with a microcontroller and two different lenses for carrying out various types of image capture and recognition projects.
The Grove Serial Camera Kit includes a 5V microcontroller powered by your programming board and two interchangeable lenses, one standard lens for basic shots and another wide-angle lens for more ambitious projects. You can store your images on an SD card. There are three different resolutions and several control modes (white, auto exposure, focus).
The Grove camera module works particularly well with Arduino – this very popular programming board is more than capable of handling its 300,000 pixels per image. You’ll also need an SD shield to read your storage card. If you generally prefer the good old Raspberry Pi, bear in mind that it too can be used to power your camera and process images.
The 101020000 Grove camera module comes with all the documentation you need to fully understand the many subtleties of the Grove system, and of this module in particular.
