Adafruit MPR121 capacitive touch module: sensitivity made in I2C
The Adafruit MPR121 capacitive touch module consists of an MPR121 circuit operating only with the I2C protocol. Easier to use than an analogue circuit, it allows you to accurately adjust the sensitivity of each input, performs all your filtering operations for you, and adapts to a wide range of microcontrollers. If you add a voltage regulator and I2C shifter, you can connect a 3V or 5V microcontroller.
Easy assembly and debugging
The Adafruit MPR121 module comes fully assembled and with a 36-pin 2.54 mm header. Because the MPR121 circuit is welded to a development board, you can use this module directly with a prototyping board. In addition, a green LED has been added to the IRQ line. It switches on as soon as the module detects that a sensor is being activated, allowing you to test the quality of your connections with your bare eyes.
