Ozobot puzzle: 96 wooden pieces to develop a taste for discovery
This wooden Ozobot circuit was designed with one aim in mind: to combine an introduction to robotics programming and algorithms with an educational puzzle. This Ozobot accessory consists of 96 puzzle pieces that include not only the different directions the little robot can take, but also some specific commands it must obey such as go faster, turn around, turn right or left or take a break.
For each activity, the child is required to create the best route to take the Ozobot robot to its destination. They will need to imagine their itinerary, adapt it along the way, add shortcuts, and so on. This Ozobot puzzle is designed for use by children aged 5 and over, alone or in groups. You can even spice things up a bit by organising a race between robots!
Ozobot puzzle: online and offline activities
Get your Ozobot robot immediately up and running by following the instructions in the user manual (provided).
Each time your pupils solve a puzzle with their Ozobot, they learn something new about programming. You can also visit OzoBlockly.com to try some of the other activities and challenges available online. The OzoBlockly platform is a visual programming tool particularly well suited to very young children that is based on the click and drag principle used for command blocks. They can choose and change the behaviour of their robot as they wish to accomplish new feats.

No, you can use other markers provided that they can draw 6mm thick lines. The colours that the Ozobot can recognise are blue, red, green and black. You also have to be careful, the coloured lines can't be too dark or too light!
Ozobot is not waterproof. Please do not put robots in your mouth and never put them in liquids. Ozobot is an electronic product and not moisture resistant.
Calibration is very important. As soon as you want to change the background or program the robot using a digital display, it has to be calibrated. Calibration adapts the optical bit sensors to the surface and the light environment. A detailed guide for calibrating Ozobot is enclosed.
Ozobot is very small. A little dust, grease or crumbs can cause problems when driving. To clean Ozobot, simply follow these steps: take a clean sheet of white paper. Gently rub Ozobot back and forth over the paper. The wheels are clean again
