Ellipse 2 Micro AHRS: a complete, chip-sized navigation system
The Ellipse 2 Micro AHRS combines 2 systems in one:
An inertial measurement unit equipped with 3 gyroscopes, 3 magnetometers, 3 accelerometers and a temperature sensor for autonomous navigation and for guiding land vehicles
An AHRS (altitude and heading reference system) with an extended Kalman filter for collecting essential data for sea and air navigation, such as pitch, roll, heave and heading
This IMU/AHRS offers a wide variety of available data, including quaternion, Euler angles and velocity. It ensures quality navigation thanks in particular to its highly accurate measurement sensors.
Despite its particularly light weight (10 g!), the Ellipse 2 Micro AHRS is particularly good at resisting shocks and vibrations (applied force of up to 2 kg).
