LCD display with STN characters: what is a transflective screen?
Newhaven Display’s transflective LCD display combines two lighting technologies: internal backlighting using a white LED, and reflective technology, where the lighting is provided by the ambient light in front of the screen.
This LCD display is therefore ideal for inclusion in a project designed for outdoor use, or in environments where the lighting is more intense. The greater the brightness, the brighter the screen.
