Delivering the Baxter robot at Ecole Centrale de Nantes (France)

This entry was posted in Robotics news on by Jérôme Laplace.

On January 16, we delivered a Baxter robot at the Irccyn Laboratory of the Ecole Centrale de Nantes (France).

IRCCyN is the research institute of communication and cybernetics of Nantes. It is a mixed CNRS unit that is also a dependent unit of the Ecole Centrale de Nantes, University of Nantes and the Ecole des Mines de Nantes. The robot Baxter will be used for research purposes but will also be used for training engineering students who will enjoy programming such a collaborative robot using ROS.

The following pictures show the unpacking and implementation of the robot in the laboratory.
