Infrared Grove Line Finder: a double LED system

This Grove module has two infrared LEDs with different functions: one is a transmitter, the other a receiver. The digital signal transmitted by the Grove Line Finder to its board will enable your robot to follow a black line on a white background or a white line on a black background.

Applications for the Grove Line Finder

As its name indicates, this Line Finder is an ideal device for a line-following robot. It’s a very useful detector if you want to build a robot capable of taking part in a race, but can also be used simply to make your robotised platform a little more independent!
