Who is behind Génération Robots?
Génération Robots, based in Mérignac, was founded in 2008 by Jérôme Laplace, a true robotics enthusiast. At that time it was difficult in France to find spare parts for the equipment of his robot. It is this need that drives him to start the online distribution of electronic components and robotics. Today Génération Robots offers its robots worldwide thanks to its trilingual website (French, English and German). Génération Robots stands for quality and excellent service.
Génération Robots works with more than 1,500 educational structures in Europe: kindergardens, schools, high schools, universities, but also fablabs or media centers and research institutions.
Sharing our passion!
Until June 2008, Jérôme Laplace managed an e-marketing team of 50 people. His career in robotics began in his garage in Bordeaux.
Jérôme has decided to devote himself full-time to Generation Robots and is renting an office space in a suburb of Bordeaux.
