Grove 3-Axis Digital Compass Module V2: a high-precision ASIC
The Grove 3-Axis Digital Compass Module V2 includes the BMM150 3-axis digital geomagnetic sensor. The signal output can be read out over I2C and SPI interface.
In addition, thanks to the Grove system, mastering the module couldn’t be easier: simply use a compatible base shield, Mega Shield oder GrovePi+ to rapidly connect your Arduino or Raspberry Pi board with the module without having to get out your soldering iron.
Uses for the Grove 3-Axis Digital Compass Module V2
The Grove 101020492 module will prove just as useful in a navigation system for a drone or mobile robot as in the creation of a DIY digital compass. It also allows you to create small navigation systems for hiking or for the car.
