Operating the 3-Pin SPDT Micro Switch
The 3-Pin SPDT Micro Switch is referred to as an SPDT (single pole, double throw) switch because it comprises a single pole but has 2 possible connection points.
Since you have 3 connection pins, you can also choose to use this switch as an SPST (single pole, single throw), in which case only 2 pins are used and configured by default for an on or off position.
Uses of the 3-Pin SPDT Micro Switch
The SPDT Micro Switch can be used as a basic switch in any of your projects, for example to switch easily from one mode to another.
If you want to integrate this switch into your robotics project, it can be used to create a touch button for controlling your robot (or mounted on your robot).
