Codey Rocky is an educational robot that introduces pupils from the age of 6 to STEAM. It is composed of a controller that you can use independently or combined with the Rocky mobile chassis.
Codey is the controller of the little mobile robot designed by Makeblock, which you can use to teach primary and secondary school children the basics of robotics programming. Beginners will create their first programs using the Scratch 3.0 visual language, while more advanced users will be able to improve their knowledge of Python.
Codey is equipped with a variety of sensors (light, sound, navigation, infrared transmission and reception, etc.), so you can use it alone for theoretical study. With its Rocky chassis, it becomes capable of moving, following lines, avoiding obstacles, recognising colours, and more.
In class, children can use this primary and secondary school robot to discover not only the basics of robotics, mechanics and electronics, but also the principles behind artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things.
