Grove soil moisture sensor: no electrodes, no corrosion

Capacitive sensors have a significant advantage over resistive sensors: its electrodes are not made of metal, so they are corrosion-resistant.

This Grove capacitive sensor module can be planted directly into the soil to measure its moisture content. The data is sent to the Grove Shield and then to the Arduino or another compatible microcontroller.
