Education : payment by invoice

We work with many major players in the world of education, worldwide. Whether you’re working at a school, a research lab, a university, etc, we offer you the possibility to pay your order by invoice. You can ask us for a quotation by email (contact@generationrobots.com) or via our contact form. You can also send us directly your purchase order (email, fax or mail).

The GR Lab: our Engineering and Software Development Office

In addition to our online store, we have an Engineering and Software Development Office (the GR Lab !), where we work on the engineering of advanced solutions and behaviours for service robots. All orders are carefully packed to make sure they are fully protected when being transported. We attach the utmost importance to the quality of our packaging and protective materials. All parcels are delivered by the French La Poste mail service, or a transporter (Fedex, DHL or TNT), to the address provided on the order.

Our customers can choose between two types of service:

  • Economy: The parcel is delivered to your mailbox (if the carrier is unable to do so because of the size of the parcel, he will leave a non-delivery notice so that you can pick the parcel up at a nearby post office). You do not need to sign for items when using this economy delivery method.
  • Priority: The parcel is delivered to your mailbox as above. The difference with the economy service lies in the fact that the parcel is delivered against a signature to ensure safe delivery

With DHL, you will also have the choice between two types of services:

  • DHL Express: Time-sensitive: delivery by end of next possible day (depending on your destination, it can take up to 5 days for distant destinations)
  • DHL Economy Select : Less urgent: delivery within certain number of days

With TNT, you can choose to have your parcel delivered either « At home » or « At work ». If you select the “At work” shipping, your parcel will not be delivered on a Saturday.

Note: You will have 15 days from the date indicated on the non-delivery notice to pick up your parcel. After this time, it will be automatically returned to the sender and you will be charged for redelivery.

Tracking your parcel

Whatever service you choose, you can track the delivery of your parcels at the La Poste website (http://www.colissimo.fr/portail_colissimo/suivre.do?language=en_EN) using the parcel number found in your customer area. This number will appear once the parcel has been delivered to La Poste.

A carrier may be used instead of La Poste to deliver heavy, big or large numbers of parcels. You will be informed of such a decision before the order is dispatched.

Delivery times

Parcels are deposited at La Poste on weekdays, the morning after placing an order.

The delivery time announced by La Poste depends on the country and vary between 2 to 4 days in Europe after leaving the depot.

Transporters delivery times:

  • 24h with DHL Express (France and Worldwide, can be up to 5 days for distant destinations)
  • Between 2 and 6 working days for most of the destinations served by DHL Economy Select
  • Between 1 and 5 working days for most of the destinations served by DHL Express

Deliveries in other countries

Feel free to contact us by e-mail or telephone to request an estimate for delivery to a country that does not appear in the delivery address list of countries. The services of a carrier may be used instead of La Poste if necessary. If this is the case, you will be informed of our decision before receiving the parcel.
