Spot CORE: your local 16 GB processor
It allows you to launch your own software locally without going through the Spot network. This has several advantages:
- You benefit from high-bandwidth, low-latency connections while designing your program
- The “payload” that comes with Spot CORE gives you access to an open programming environment, which is not possible with Spot’s on-board processors
- The processor comes pre-installed with Ubuntu 18.04, and you can use the SDK designed for Spot to immediately access the heart of the machine and change it at will
- You can also format the hard drive to install your own operating system
A great range of connections for a more personalised experience
The Spot robot is not a mobile robot designed merely to stroll through a lab or factory – although these features are already top-notch. With the CORE processor you get a new range of connections for customising your robot according to your plans:
- 3 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 ports
- 1 HDMI connector
- 1 Ethernet port
- 1 RS232 serial port
- 2 display ports
