The mGrip series of flexible grippers includes two types of device, characterised by the position of their fingers. The circular version has 2 to 5 fingers arranged in a circle, making it a sensitive, fast and precise robotic gripper.
Like its parallel counterpart, the soft circular gripper will adapt to any object of a width between 65 and 155 mm. It needs no sensors or cameras to guide it. This Soft Robotics gripper comes in kit form and can be assembled in just a few minutes. You’ll find an assembly guide in our resources to help you quickly start using your new tool. The mGrip is adaptive and designed for industrial environments. It takes just a few minutes to configure it for immediate use.
Uses of the mGrip robotic gripper
You can install your mGrip on any industrial robotic arm and connect it to any Soft Robotics Control Unit. It’s a flexible gripper that will withstand millions of production cycles without weakening, and is particularly useful for:
- picking up, moving and positioning objects on a production line;
- carrying out end-of-line operations, including packaging and packing products.
When paired with a Soft Robotics Control Unit, the mGrip can manage up to 3 or 4 cycles per second, making it a good choice in all types of challenging industrial robotics situations.
