6WD Mantis: a high-strength yet flexible chassis

You’ll be amazed by just how well this outdoor robot chassis moves. It is designed to cope with all types of terrain, however difficult. The 6WD Mantis is equipped with 6 fully independent wheels with off-road tires offering an excellent grip. Its aluminium A-arm style suspension makes your robot capable of climbing stones and irregular terrain while suffering no power loss. This is because it’s equipped with 6 dual ball bearing-mounted brushed DC motors with planetary gears, meaning lots of torque and a no-load speed of 313 rpm. The chassis can also be completely “flattened” for optimum road holding. It has everything you’ll need to try your hand at the most intrepid of races with a 6-wheeled robot chassis that looks a little like an insect.

A constantly reinvented robotics chassis

The aluminium channels used to create the robotics chassis are drilled with numerous holes, making it easier to attach electronic components and other mechanical parts from the Actobotics range. So why not customise your mini rover robot to transform it into an all-terrain racing legend, or an explorer capable of overcoming any obstacle?
