The Hokuyo UBG-04LX-F01 LiDAR is a laser scanning solution that’s both compact and economical, offering excellent value for money. Perfect for indoor applications, it is able to report ranges up to 5.6 m in a 240° arc. As it’s lightweight and compact, you can integrate it easily into any electronic or robotised systems.
Its USB and serial interfaces make it possible to power it using your PC and to exchange data through its RS-232 port.
What’s different from the Hokuyo URG-04LX telemeter?
The Hokuyo UBG-04LX-F01 laser range finder fits into a similar compact and lightweight footprint as its predecessor, the URG-04-LX LiDAR, and its range, scan window, and resolution are the same.
The main difference is the scanning frequency: 35 scans per second versus 10 for the URG-04LX model. You get a more powerful telemeter for all your mapping or obstacle detection projects, fitted on a mobile robot, for example.
