D455f: a long-range depth camera with IR Pass filter

The RealSense™ D455f is based on the long-range depth camera D455, with an additional 750 nm IR Pass filter installed in production. This filter, placed in front of the optics, helps reduce stray reflections, repetitive patterns and false positives, for more robust obstacle detection and more reliable scene reconstruction.

Designed for mobile robotics, industrial vision, autonomous navigation and research, the D455f offers long range, wide field of view and easy integration via the open-source RealSense™ SDK 2.0.

Integration and SDK

The D455f is designed for plug-and-play integration. The IR Pass filter is added directly at the factory on the RealSense production line, enabling a ready-to-use camera with no additional hardware modification.

The camera is supported by the RealSense™ SDK 2.0, an open-source, cross-platform SDK that makes it easy to move from one camera generation to another. You benefit from the same software environment for depth capture, image processing and integration into your applications.
