How do I use my IRSS-10 infrared sensor?

The Robotis IRSS-10 infrared sensor is a robotic vision accessory that enables object and colour detection at a distance of up to 15 cm. It can’t measure distances between objects, however, because their brightness and colour will influence the amount of light returned to the sensor.

Objects situated too close to the sensor are not detected correctly. The ideal detection range is between 1.5 and 15 cm.
