This gripper offers a large width, allowing your Niryo Ned robot to pick up and handle larger objects.
Niryo Ned is a 6-axis mobile robot arm designed by Niryo for robotics education and research. 100% open-source, it reproduces a wide range of movements precisely and in a highly repeatable manner.
It allows you to use various accessories designed for Industry 4.0 applications, including a conveyor belt and a Vision Set with an onboard camera. It also has an “EasyConnect” system for changing tools as often and rapidly as necessary.
Ned comes with a range of grippers offering different functionalities for users who don’t have a 3D printer.
There are currently four tools available for the Niryo Ned robot: a vacuum pump, an electromagnet, an adaptive gripper and a large gripper. This last tool allows you to pick up bigger objects while maintaining a solid grip thanks to two fingers that always remain parallel. It can also pick up small objects located up to 8 cm away from its base.
