CH4 Gas Sensor
Methane CH4 Gas Sensor: Efficient detection for guaranteed safety
The 605-00008 CH4 Gas Sensor is an extremely reliable sensor for detecting methane, a highly flammable gas, the incomplete combustion of which leads to the production of carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide, with the associated risks of asphyxiation. Unfortunately, it is also a perfectly undetectable, colourless and odourless gas.
That’s why a CH4 sensor capable of detecting the slightest pressure variation and generating an electronic signal according to these variations has been designed, able to detect a gas concentration between 5,000 and 20,000 ppm. It also meets the requirements of the RoHS environmental standard.
CH4 Gas Sensor: Applications in numerous fields
Emissions of methane, or CH4, can escape from domestic heating appliances, from vehicles and to a much greater extent from industrial plants. So a methane gas sensor can be used not only for domestic safety, but also for professional or environmental monitoring.
