The HEX-E sensor provides 6 degrees of freedom for measuring torque and force. It is an efficient and accessible solution that can give your robot a highly accurate sense of touch. The HEX sensor is suitable for both industrial settings and robotics lessons. And there’s no need to be a whizz at programming to be able to use it.
It is quickly and easily mounted on a robotic arm, simply use the screws provided with the sensor. Once the HEX sensor is assembled, you’ll need to install its graphical user interface (GUI), thanks to which your OnRobot sensor will be operational within about 15 minutes.
HEX-E sensor: precision above all
You will find 2 versions of this 6-axis HEX force sensor on our website. This HEX-E version places the focus on precision, offering a resolution of 0.2 N on the Fxy axes, and 0.8 N on the Fz axis. This OnRobot sensor is therefore particularly suitable for high-precision industrial operations, for example object detection, collision prevention, path recording, smoothing, polishing, machining and assembly.
