A stepper motor in unipolar or bipolar mode

This NEMA 17-size motor is connected using 6 colour-coded cables according to the chosen mode. When used with a unipolar stepper motor driver, all six leads are used. When used with a bipolar stepper motor driver, the yellow and white wires can be left disconnected. We recommend using it as a bipolar stepper motor to make the most of its capabilities. A variety of options are available for mounting this stepper motor in your project.
