Bipolar 200 Steps/Rev Stepper Motor: use and applications
The NEMA 17-size motor is connected using 4 colour-coded cables – green and black cables for one coil, blue and red cables for the other. It comes with a 5 mm diameter “D” output shaft, compatible with the Pololu universal mounting hub. The motor can be controlled by two H-bridges (one per coil), although we recommend a stepper motor driver, such as the MP6500 driver.
This type of motor is ideal for all applications requiring precise angular positioning, e.g. 3D printers, CNC machines, machine tools, scanners, hard disks, etc.
